Marilyn Smithett – Dressage protocol day

We are very excited to offer a Dressage Protocol Day with HRCAV judge Marilyn Smithett.
This is the perfect opportunity to dip your toe in if you have a green horse, or if you would like to try a test the level above or just get some feedback before your next competition.
The dressage protocol day gives you the opportunity to learn what judges are looking for, what movements are required at each level, ringcraft, what the marks mean, and a whole lot more.
Marilyn Smithett has been an HRCAV dressage judge of all levels for approx 30 years. Marilyn is also a past EA dressage judge, a current HRCAV show judge all levels, and was a level assessor for many years. Marilyn also coaches.
Marilyn loves judging dressage. It gives her the opportunity to help riders progress through the grades by commenting on what they are doing and how to try & improve their tests.
Location: Willow Lane Equestrian Centre, Bangholme
Cost: $50 for a 45 min dressage lesson
